Location: The Dome at America's Center, 701 Convention Plaza, St. Louis, MO, 63101

October 25-26 Prelims: The competition features about 70 bands from 11 states including some of the top bands in the country. Bands from all classes perform Friday morning through Saturday until the prelims awards at 3:30 pm. The Lincoln Band's prelim time is Friday at 6:45 pm.

October 26 Evening Finals: The 14 top-scoring bands advance to finals. If Lincoln advances to finals, we will learn that at prelims awards and receive our finals performance time shortly after that.
Travel: The band will leave Thursday afternoon before school is out and drive to Kansas City. We will rehearse on Friday at a school on the way to St. Louis before we perform Friday night. On Saturday night after the event, students will board the buses for an overnight drive back to Sioux Falls. Stay tuned to emails from the band directors for more specifics.

Spectator Tips:
-
Parking: Plan time to park and walk to the dome. There are many paid parking garages within several blocks of the venue. Many families use the Park Whiz or Spot Hero apps to find and even reserve parking.
-
Event tickets: Each session requires a separate ticket: prelims on Friday, prelims on Saturday and finals on Saturday. It's recommended that you purchase online. If you want, you can wait to purchase a finals ticket until we know if LHS makes finals.
-
Stadium details: Small, clear bags are allowed in stadium. BOA merch available is for purchase. Concessions are available.
-
Safety: Just like in any city, we recommend you stay aware of your surroundings (not looking down at your phone), and walk with or have a buddy. There will be a lot of band fans coming and going from the event, so downtown St. Louis will be busy.
-
Streaming: Not able to make it to St. Louis? BOA offers a paid streaming service with details on their website.
