We're looking forward to giving away a new car to one lucky winner and achieving another successful car raffle fundraiser for the Lincoln Band! It's our big fundraiser for the 2025-26 school year, and we need all of our students and families to get involved. Ticket sales open July 14 at 12 AM CT and close August 17 at 12 AM CT. The drawing is August 21 at Preview Night (first day of school, need not be present to win.)

Want to support the band but not purchase a ticket? Donate online to the Lincoln Band Parents Association (a nonprofit organization) or become a business sponsor.

The Lincoln Band Parents Association (BPA) purchases the car at half its cost.

After paying this portion of the car cost, funds raised as part of raffle ticket sales go toward the BPA budget, which supports various Lincoln Band programs.

Students who get credit for a ticket sale will also receive $5 toward their individual student account (ISA).

Car Raffle Sales Tips for Students
This year, our raffle starts and ends earlier to give students more time to sell tickets before SPAT camp, and so everything can wrap up before school starts.

Be sure you are familiar with vehicle details and the rules of the raffle.

A limited number of paper tickets were handed out at sectionals in early July.

Tickets are also available online.

Be sure to encourage buyers to put down your first and last name on the paper ticket or online form, so you get $5 toward your ISA a $20 raffle ticket. (The BPA will apply ticket sales to ISAs shortly after the raffle is complete.)

To sell, ask friends, family and neighbors. Go door to door in your neighborhood and other areas. Sign up for a ticket sales work shift.

On Friday, August 1, we will again host a call/text-a-thon at the end of SPAT camp. Be sure to bring a list of contact names/numbers for this concentrated selling effort.

If someone doesn't want to buy a raffle ticket, offer them the option to make a donation at LincolnBand.org/Donate or become a business sponsor.

Print and use the raffle flyer (single page, two per page) when selling. It includes QR codes for online ticket purchases and to make an individual donation to the BPA.
