CAr Raffle Fundraiser

Ticket Distribution

Students will receive both paper raffle tickets and a QR code for online sales during Uniform Fitting on July 25, 2026.

Please Note: Ticket sales may not begin until July 31, 2026. All raffle ticket purchasers must be 18 years of age or older.

​

Important Dates

  • Ticket Sales Begin: Friday, July 31, 2026

  • Ticket Sales End: Sunday, August 30, 2026

  • Winner Drawing: Monday, August 31, 2026

 

The winning ticket will be drawn live on Facebook near the end of Marching Band Rehearsal that evening.

 

Ways to Sell Tickets

SPAT Camp Call-a-thon Challenge

 

Friday, July 31, 2026 | Approximately 4:00–5:00 PM

 

Students will participate in a fun, director-led competition by texting and calling friends, family, and supporters to sell raffle tickets.

 

Last year, the winning group earned an extra hour of sleep and started the next day of SPAT Camp at 9:00 AM instead of 8:00 AM. (Rewards are determined by the directors and may vary.)

 

Important: Only online sales made during this one-hour challenge will count toward the competition.

To help your student be successful, consider giving friends and family a heads-up that they may receive a message during the challenge. Recommended wording and reminders will be shared through HEJA prior to the event.

Neighborhood Sales

​

Students are encouraged to walk their neighborhoods and sell tickets in person. This is a great activity to do with fellow band members and an excellent way to connect with community supporters.

 

Social Media Promotion

 

Share your student's raffle ticket link on your social media accounts to help reach family, friends, and supporters.

 

Community Sales Shifts

 

Students will also have opportunities to sell tickets at local businesses. Sign-up information will be shared through HEJA and SignUpGenius.

  • Hy-Vee (37th Street & Minnesota Avenue)

  • Fareway Foods (Sycamore Avenue & East 41st Street)

  • Hy-Vee (Cliff Avenue & 57th Street)

 

Ticket Turn-In & Additional Ticket Pick-Up

 

Throughout the fundraiser, we will announce multiple opportunities to:

  • Turn in sold raffle tickets

  • Submit raffle proceeds

  • Pick up additional paper tickets

 

Dates and locations will be communicated through HEJA and may include opportunities during SPAT lunches, Breakfast with the Band, and other scheduled events.
