2011 Vallefest Itinerary
Congratulations are in store for the LHS Marching Band on their recent invitation to march in the 2013 Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California! The announcement was made on Tuesday, October 4, when the future president of the Tournament of Roses Parade called the band personally during a rehearsal before their DVD recording to inform them of the news. This will be the band’s fourth trip to the Tournament of Roses Parade. Thank you to the previous members of the LHS band for maintaining the legacy and excellence to gain acceptance into the parade, and good luck to the current and future members that will be participating. You will make us proud!
Come out to USF Stadium at 69yh & Cliff and see the band in full uniform. No admission. Recording will be between 8:00 and 9:00.
This is an invitation to all friends of the Lincoln High School Marching Band to join us for the season’s last performances of “Red” at the Indoor Concerts and Chicken Dinners on Tuesday, November 1 and Thursday, November 3, 2011.
The annual chicken dinner will be served from 5 pm to 8 pm in the LHS cafeteria. The indoor marching concerts are at 6 pm and 8 pm both evenings in the LHS auditorium.
Tickets may be purchased at the door or you may order tickets in advance by sending a message to behrendrw@sio.midco.net. The dinner tickets are $9 in advance and $10 at the door. Children ages 5 and under eat free and listen to the concert for free. The concert tickets are $3 for grade 9 through adult and $1 for students in grades 1-8.
