Congratulations to the Lincoln Band on a great performance on Saturday in Sioux City!  The Band won every caption: Outstanding Hornline, Outstanding Colorguard, Outstanding Drumline, Outstanding Concert Percussion, Outstanding Visual Performance, Outstanding Music General Effect, and Outstanding Visual General Effect.  This culminated in the Sweepstakes award for best overall performance.  Great job students!

There were many obstacles to overcome, especially the delays due to unpredictable weather which resulted in a brief warm-up and set up time.  Despite this adversity, the students pushed through and delivered a performance which resulted in the Critics Choice award of “Wow! Just Wow!”

Thank you to all students, parents, chaperones, roadies, and everyone else who dealt with the unpredictability with a cheerful and flexible attitude.  It is always a huge team effort, but the final performance is always fantastic.  Thank you!

Congratulations to the Lincoln High School Marching Band on a fantastic performance in Marshall, MN on Saturday!  The band came in 1st place overall and won all caption awards which included best music general effect, best visual general effect, best visual performance, best brass, best woodwinds, best colorguard, best drumline, best concert percussion, and best Drum Majors.  In addition to competitive success, our students had great attitudes, respectful behavior, and were a class act throughout the entire day.  We are so proud of you all!

A HUGE thank you goes out to all of the volunteers who are absolutely vital to our success.  Much of the work goes on behind the scenes for many weeks prior to our season and for that, we are incredibly grateful.  A special thanks to all of you who put in so much time on Saturday, including the Roadies and Chaperones.  The Lincoln Band support system is amazing!

Thank you parents and students  for not posting show videos on social media.  Pictures and congratulatory comments are great though!
Congratulations to all of the bands who performed at the Pursuit of Excellence!  What a wonderful event and a great way to launch our competitive season!
