Featuring all three jazz bands beginning at 6:30 pm, followed by the Freshman, Varsity, Concert & Symphonic bands. Plan to join us for this spectacular concert event!
We will also be kicking off the 2012-13 Marching Band Season field show “Out of the Blue” and will have committee sign-ups before and after the concert. Be sure to stop by and visit with these committees to learn how you can be part of the band program. It would not be as successful as it is without the support of the band parents. We appreciate all that you do to ensure our band kids are taken care of.
Don’t forget to pick up your Seroogy’s chocolate and coffee orders this Monday, March 26, from 3:15-5:30 pm in the LHS cafeteria. If you have any delivery questions, please contact Cheryl Kliewer at 261-1505.
LHS Little Theater
10 AM – We will be hosting a press conference at 10 am in the Little Theater to highlight the upcoming Tournament of Roses trip and the visiting Tournament of Roses President, Sally Bixby. Everyone is welcome at the press conference.
7 PM – Washington Pavilion for our Spring Band Concert. Tickets are $8 adults/$5 students and are available at the box office up through the day of the concert.
8:30 PM – Meet & greet the Bixby’s in the foyer following the concert with live background music courtesy of our jazz band members. Sally Bixby is the 2013 Tournament of Roses President.
The MANDATORY meetings scheduled for March 8th and March 12th have been postponed to mid-April. We will send out information when date(s) are firmed up. The intention of the meeting was for all members of the 2012 LHS Marching Band to cover travel information on the upcoming Tournament of Roses Parade trip.
Don’t forget the Jazz concert on Monday night and to purchase Gala tickets inside the band room door between 6:00 to 7:00 on Tuesday night. Car wash coupons are also available for purchase.
