The blitz will be Saturday, February 25th from 10:00am to 1:00pm – be at the school’s bandroom entrance at 9:30 to be ready to go. A car wash where we don’t wash the cars! Empire Car Wash on 41st St. will take care of the washing all we have to do is sell the car wash tickets. All students should participate. The sign-up sheet for students is on the wall in the band hallway.
Also, parent drivers are needed for the blitz. Parents, please contact Mike or Madonna Graanstra at mlma2@sio.midco.net or Dick or Dawn Stanga at dstanga@sio.midco.net to volunteer for driving. You may request to drive for your son or daughter.
How does the blitz work? Students in groups of 2 or 4 will sell car wash tickets in a designated area of town. Each student group will be accompanied/driven by a parent. Students can sign up individually or in groups of 2 or 4. Each student group will be assigned an area along with an adult (parent) driver. The driver will be responsible for safely transporting the students. Students will NOT be allowed to drive for the blitz – NO EXCEPTIONS!
