Lincoln high school band
Our Sioux Falls, SD-based band program features a nationally recognized marching band, three competitive jazz bands, four concert bands, pep bands and color guard. Our directors lead the band, which is supported by the Lincoln Band Parents Association (BPA), an all-volunteer, non-profit parent organization. Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade 2024
In 2024, our marching band will represent Lincoln, Sioux Falls and the state of South Dakota when we perform in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade! Our band students and community are thrilled for this honor, but we need your help. The 7-day trip will cost $500,000, with $100,000 of that to feed the band.

How to Help as a Business or Individual

Donate to the Feed the Band fund or become a Feed the Band business sponsor (which includes sponsor benefits).

Support specific efforts to get the box truck to NY and offset the cost of our chaperones who guiding our students the entire trip.

Make a general donation to become an individual Fan of the Band or a business sponsor for the 2024-25 school year.

Support our various fundraisers that raise money for both our BPA and individual student accounts.
Mattress Sale Fundraiser
Yes, you read that right! We're hosting a mattress sale on May 4 to sell 100+ mattresses to raise money for the BPA ahead of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade trip.

Learn how to get involved and where to buy your mattress and accessories. Delivery is free! Students get incentives for sales with their names. We need our band families to spread the word and get at least one person to the sale!
